Personal safety prototype

Discreet SOS prototype for moments when taking out a phone is unsafe.

Guardian Signal pairs an independent trigger with an ESP32-CAM snapshot, location context, and trusted-contact alerting so a support circle can recognize risk and respond faster.

Current prototype

A high-risk moment becomes a trusted-contact alert.

The prototype is designed for situations where a visible phone photo could escalate danger. A separate trigger can start a discreet capture and alert flow without explaining placement or setup details on the public page.

01

Independent trigger

A non-phone trigger starts the safety flow when reaching for a mobile device may be noticed.

02

ESP32-CAM snapshot

A compact camera module captures a single context image for rapid awareness, not as a promise of formal evidence.

03

Trusted-contact alert

Selected contacts receive an immediate alert so parents, friends, guardians, or the victim's support circle can act.

04

Location context

The companion mobile app can attach location, travel, and event context to help contacts understand what changed.

Response chain

Built around recognition, escalation, and follow-up.

Trigger

The user starts an SOS event from a separate trigger surface.

Capture

A snapshot and event timestamp create context for trusted people.

Notify

Contacts receive the alert and can decide whether to call, check in, or move closer.

Follow up

The incident can continue with live tracking and configurable escalation in the roadmap.

Safety network

A support circle sees the signal before the situation gets worse.

Guardian Signal is for families and trusted groups who need fast awareness when someone feels followed, pressured, or unsafe. The first goal is recognition: giving the right people enough context to respond.

Parents and guardians

Receive the first alert, location context, and a quick view of the event timeline.

Friends nearby

Understand where to check in, call, or coordinate a safe interruption.

The person at risk

Can signal for help without turning the entire moment into a visible confrontation.

Roadmap

The pitch separates the prototype from configurable future integrations.

Planned

Mobile live tracking

Activate continuous location follow-up when an alert begins.

Planned

Bluetooth audio stream

Connect to a configured headset microphone for live incident audio.

Planned

Trusted-contact talkback

Let trusted contacts send short voice guidance back through the paired headset.

Configurable

Authority escalation

Support optional emergency-authority escalation based on user settings and local requirements.

Responsible use

Awareness support, not a legal shortcut.

Guardian Signal is intended to help trusted people recognize potential danger and coordinate a safer response. Captured media should be treated as incident context, not a guarantee of admissible evidence, and the system is not a replacement for emergency services, legal advice, consent rules, or local law.
